Last night Tim & I finished recording the audio for the "Down the Rabbit Hole: A Memoir of Abuse, Addiction & Recovery" audio book. 43 chapters are edited, which means I have 19 more to go before submitting it ~ again ~ to ACX (Audible). It was rejected the first time because of too much ambient noise. This time we rented a studio ~ where there was STILL ambient noise, but more on Yelp about that later. Guys ~ narrating a book is hard! Not only is it physically exhausting, but the editing process is tedious AF. I enjoyed every minute of it, but I definitely have a deeper appreciation for professional narrators now. Mouth noise, amIright? BTW - these lozenges work wonders for eliminating mouth noise, but BEWARE - too many result in butt noise.
