Anu Verma, author of the book and host of the podcast Victim 2 Victor, invited me to be a guest on her pod. We recorded our 45-minute discussion last Wednesday (at 7:30 AM, as she is in the UK. I will not be held responsible for what I may have said at that hour). We discussed growing up in an abusive household, turning to drugs as a coping mechanism, then breaking the cycle by choosing recovery and healing. Anu is a lovely host and beautiful old soul.
