OK, so I printed out my manuscript for "Voicemails from My Sister" and reread it. This is such an important thing for a writer to do, as our work reads so differently on paper than it does on a screen.
This process let me see things that needed changing that I couldn't see when I was reading it on the screen. I've made additional edits, which I will now go back and change on the computer.
Then I'll print it out again and reread it again, making sure it's ready to publish.
Side note ~ I've started taking the bus to work instead of driving, which allows me 2 more hours of pleasure-reading time a day! Writers should read, and now I have even more time to do so.
