Living the dream

Today I got to act all day. First a SAG Foundation workshop with Natasha Ward, then an improv for auditions class at Keep it Real acting studios. Both via Zoom, so I didn't even have to leave my cozy living room or wear pants.

I know it's taboo to say, but I am so grateful for the quarantine because every day since March has been devoted to the pursuit of creativity. I've published a book, written half of another book, written half a mini series screenplay, done a bunch of casting director workshops, worked on accents, put up skill clips, taken classes, started to learn German... not to mention all of the time I can devote to my spiritual practice! I'm meditating and journaling over 30 minutes a day and feel a conscious contact with a higher power like I've never felt before.

And now, I sleep. Creativity is exhausting!
