At this point I am just getting the scenes onto the page. I am writing chronologically, but am not sure the story will ultimately unfold that way. I may cut between young Kate and adult Kate. Scenes of abusive childhood interwoven with scenes of recovery. I'd like Denise's decline to coincide with Kate's rise. I thank God for guiding my hand.
